OSAMU'S MOTHER GOOSE is a picture book based on British children's song Mother Goose created by Osamu Harada in 1976. Osamu Harada is a famous Japanese illustrator and designer whose work has profoundly influenced Japanese Kawaii culture and whose style has inspired many modern graphic designers. Starting with this work, Osamu Goods became a symbol of Japanese girls' popular culture in the 1980s, the work successfully commercializing avatar design and graphic design. Later the famous brand Sanrio's business strategy also borrowed the model of Osamu Goods.
