Produced by Konami, the Metal Gear Solid series is deeply rooted in fantastic imagery. The cover work for the sequel displays mystery and striking stylistic choices. The choices of the highly illustrative drawing in the background with a solid text for its foreground create a solid contrast for the two mediums.
The imagery takes a different direction from its other games as it is a reflection of the new world and story to uncover in MGS2; it took a direction to show its new cinematic and anticipatory approaches in the game.
