The Psychedelic Furs- Forever Now

The New Wave movement was a less political evolution of the punk rock genre and took place mainly from the late 1970s into the early 1980s. It was a quirkier and melodic addition to its predecessor that took inspiration from the aesthetics and pop music of the 50s and 60s. Design-wise, the New Wave can be identified by its grid-defying juxtaposing elements such as multiple type weights, bold and provocative color/imagery, and inconsistent spacing.

Forever Now is the Psychedelic Furs’ third studio album. The main focus is supposed to be on the imagery of the cover, not the type as it is barely legible.
