BTS: The Most Beautiful Moment In Life Pt.1

No longer just young boys, the album is an introduction to BTSas a group that continues to grow and develop. In each trackare distilled poetic and pop emotions that allows the listener tosense both the soft and the resounding musicaltransformation of the group.
After successfully concluding the “School Trilogy” thatdiscusses the main topics of interest for teens—dreams,happiness and love—the new album begins to discuss “youth”.BTS has chosen the theme of “the most beautiful moment inlife”, the start of one’s young adulthood in which beautycoexists with uncertainty.
The most beautiful moment in life pt.1 focuses on theuncertain future more than the glamour of youth. In addition,while previous lyrical work had been credited to the rappers(RM, SUGA and j-hope), the vocal members (Jin, Jimin, V, JungKook) have now added their names to the credits for thisalbum’s producing and songwriting.

Shifting their sound and image from solely aggressive, masculine hip hop to more diverse styles,[4] BTS wanted to express the beauty and anxiousness of "youth" and settled on the title of "花樣年華" (Korean: 화양연화; RR: Hwayangyeonhwa), loosely interpreted to define "youth" as "the most beautiful moment in life."
