Brooklyn Robins
The Brooklyn Robins' original logo (with its red, Old English-styled letter “B”) doesn't publicly have a specific designer's named attached to it, however several different individuals are credited with designing the later variations of the Gothic-style letter “B”. The team's current, well-known logo didn't become prevalent until 1958 when the Los Angeles Dodgers officially relocated from Brooklyn, New York. Since the late 1800s, the logo's undergone nearly 20 modifications, both minor and significant ones. The logo's color changed from red to blue in 1902 and remained the same up until 1908. The colors blue and white were intentionally paired with one another as a way of conveying both professionalism and loyalty. Fast forwarding to 1947, the letters “B” and “D” were then intertwined.
