UNO! Album
This work demonstrates how design for non-visual products represent the product in visual mediums. The CD expresses the feeling of voice and strong instrument through the texture within the composition. The rough and spotty marks seen within the type convey a sense of angst to a viewer and allude to the contents to be heard within the album. The motif of diagonals can be seen throughout this work; the tilted axis of the marks and groups of type further develop the visual aesthetic to connect to the non-visual. This work is a strong example of how alternate punk rock can be represented to a consumer without being familiar with an album or group.
