Notes: This is a Japanese Sumo CD featuring traditional Sumo songs that Sumo wrestlers sing. This is why the cover depicts several sumo wrestlers and the audience surrounding them. The wrestlers' bodies convey a sense of power, and one can feel a realistic sense that a sumo match is about to begin. The font used for the title of this CD is a traditional font called “Sumo-Tai,” which is used in sumo wrestling and gives a sense of the power of the wrestlers. The red colour of the rikishi on the right's “keshimawashi” is reminiscent of the battle to come, and the colour is used to draw the attention of sumo spectators and those viewing this design.
