Japan by Kazumasa Nagai

9

This poster was designed by Kazumasa Nagai in 1988. It depicts Japan in large size and was created to promote Japan. The main figure is a large, mysterious creature that looks like a mix of a turtle, an octopus, and a bird. In the center of its body is a large round shell like a turtle's, and its long legs and other shapes seem to resemble those of an octopus or other sea creature.

Each part of the body is decorated with traditional Japanese patterns such as fish scales, waves, and clouds, and the left arm has a white cloud and a sun-like shape. The background is also filled with whirlpools, a common feature in Japanese art.
