The concept of a museum that is open to the outside, has no facade, and can be used in a variety of ways is directly reflected in the architectural overhead view. It is not a mark that exists simply as a symbol, but is premised on the fact that many of its characteristics will be found naturally in a variety of usage environments. |
Biographic information about this designer: | He graduated from the Department of Design at Tokyo University of the Arts in 1979, and after working at Dentsu Inc., he established his own design firm in 1984. He has worked on packaging designs for products such as milk, graphic designs for PLEATS PLEASE ISSEY MIYAKE, and the symbol marks for the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa, the National Museum of Nature and Science, and the All Japan High School Baseball Championship. |
