This Ukiyo-e shows a romantic feeling through the poses and eye contact of the two people. The man on the left is calm, wearing a simple “Yukata” and holding a “Uchida“ while looking at the woman. The woman on the right leans forward boldly, which suggests a playful or intimate moment between them. Most of the colors are soft and calm, but the red color of ”Tyochin”stand out and give a strong visual impact. This work is represent of Edo-period.
