Kimono Show  At  Kintetsu Department Store

10

This poster was created by Yoshio Hayakawa in 1951 for a kimono exhibition at Kintetsu Department Store. It shows a slender, abstract figure wearing a kimono, drawn in a unique, elongated style. The poster was made in Japan and became one of the second Japanese posters collected by the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
