1: Design for the Next Exhibition 

 This poster was created for the 9th exhibition at Tokyo Midtown Design Hub, held from March 29 - May 11, 2008.  The exhibition featured the work of 30 Japanese designers. The event explored how designers could shape the “next” generation of visual culture.  The theme, represented by the number “1”, symbolizes the first step toward the future of design. 

The design was created by Mitsuo Katsui (1931-2019), a Japanese graphic designer known for his great use of color and geometry. The poster includes details such as the exhibition dates, admission information, credits to companies for exhibition support and management, and a list of the 30 participating designers.
