Yoshitisune and Benkei Attacked
This ukiyo-e woodblock print shows a supernatural scene from the kabuki (a classical form of Japanese play) It was made by Utagawa Kuniyoshi (1797-1861), a well-known artist from the Edo period famous for his dramatic warrior prints.
