This is the cover design for Mato O Iru Kotoba by Hiroshi Mori. It is a collection of unique insights and messages, compiling 108 of “Today's Words” from his website. The design features a target-like graphic placed near the center right of a white background. The target has three grey circles, with a small red circle inside. The title “的を射る言葉” translates to ”Words That Hit the Mark", incorporating with the design of target. The small red circle is substituting for the “口” part of the kanji for ”言", creating cleaver and meaningful visual pun.
