It is attributed to Mike Alewitz, an American educator, agitprop artist, mural painter, and socialist political activist since the poster uses his mural The Worker in the New World Order. It was designed on April 13, 2011. I believe this poster contributes to graphic design history as it showcases how designers can be used for movements based on their own design philosophies. Mike's activism  background gives this poster a double meaning especially as the organizers are trying to stress that Workers have the Power to organize in this New World Order—a nod to Alewitz's mural title.
