The Bomb yearbook cover from 1981. I found it in the digital yearbook archives from Iowa State University. The repeated eye illustration and bold black and blue layout make it visually striking and different from typical university yearbook design. I’m interested in why this graphic style was chosen, what it might say about campus culture in the early 1980s.
