The Chi Rho page (folio 34r) is a page from the Book of Kells. The Book of Kells is an illuminated manuscript from around 800 AD. The book was created in an Irish monastery. The Chi Rho page features a monogram of Christ in Greek (Chi Rho).  Chi is ‘X’ and Rho is ‘P’ and they are overlapped to make the monogram.
