Led Zeppelin Venue- Oakland Stadium (7/23/77)

55

This 1977 Led Zeppelin Poster for the Oakland Coliseum Stadium show is a highly sought-after collectible. It was designed by Randy Tuten and William Bostedt. It has distinctive green stripes, red typography, and a alien mothership theme.  This show was part of Bill Graham's "Day on the Green",  taking place on July 23 and 24, 1977, in Oakland, California. Days on the Green were special events produced by Bill Graham of the early 1970s to tally up the increasing number of people and fans that were required to make the concerts financially viable. This poster is significant because it was the final time Led Zeppelin played on U.S. soil.
