Rantō
This a traditional woodblock print made after an illustration Takeshia Yumeji made in 1917 for a music score composed by Matoori Nagoyo. The woodblook print was not produced till after Yumejis death in 1934 by Katō Junj who would go on to reproduce many of Yumejis works. This print showcases some of Yumejis signature motifs such as the elongated proportions of the woman's arms and torso to her saddened expression.
