Beyond Tradition: An Exhibition of Ikko Tanaka’s Posters/田中一光ポスター展　伝統への接点

In the 1990s, as the influence of modern Japanese graphic design continued to grow internationally, the Tokyo National Museum of Modern Art held an individual poster exhibition by Tanaka Ikko titled "Beyond Tradition" in 1999, showcasing his design works over several decades. This poster was designed as a promotional piece for this exhibition. He combined Japanese traditional culture with modern graphic design.
