Hosomi Museum's Rimpa Exhibition V Poster (2002) - Nakajo Masayoshi

This poster, titled Rimpa, depicts a white cat hugging a black cat and was created by Nakajo Masayoshi for the Hosomi Museum's Rimpa Exhibition V in 2002. The graphic designer Nakajo was born in Tokyo in 1933, and he graduated from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts & Music - now called Tokyo University of the Arts - in 1956 (Center for Contemporary Graphic Art, 2019). This poster was scanned from the book Nakajo, which showcases some of Nakajo's work from 1960-2021. Nakajo also includes essays by graphic designer Yoshiro Hayakawa and art director Gan Hosoya. Nakajo appointed Kaoru Kasai and Kazunari Hattori as the book designers for Nakajo. The book was published in 2021 by the publisher ADP.
