St Mary's Hospital Mural
Bridget Riley created three interconnected murals (1987, 2014) spanning the 8th-10th floors of St Mary's Hospital QEQM building. Commissioned by Imperial College Healthcare Charity Art Collection, this 56-meter mural on the 10th floor by Bridget Riley features saturated colors and flowing stripes painted directly on the walls of St Mary's Hospital's trauma ward in London. The work aims to connect patients to life outside while supporting hospital functionality.
