This is an old movie poster for the 1964 film The Incredible Mr. Limpet. This film as about a man who is obsessed with fish. One day he falls into the ocean and turns into a cartoon fish. He helps the U.S. Navy locate and destroy Nazi submarines. This poster contributes to the history of graphic design because this poster and film incorporates animation and live action and most movies that still do this technique don't do it like in this movie (most movies nowadays don't do completely 2d animation with live action anymore). Unlike movie posters today that are always vertical, this one is horizontal. This poster also gives the impression of a comic which isn't done often anymore at least on a movie poster.
