The associated illustrator is Churyo Sato, a Japanese sculptor. This is a book of The Turnip, published by Fukuinkan Shoten Publishers, Inc., in November in 1999.
One grandfather, one grandmother, one grandchild, one dog, one cat, and one mouse cooperated to uproot a big turnip in the book.
Cooperation is important for all people in today's world. There are people who have different ages and various appearances, genders, and preferences around the world. We must cooperate regardless of these elements so that we can solve problems to build a peaceful world.
I believe it contributes to the history of graphic design because it gets an important message across. I learned the importance of cooperation. In terms of character, there are the cat and the mouse in the book. Generally speaking, they are said to not get along, but they cooperated to uproot the big turnip. I understood that cooperation is important regardless of preferences to solve problems.
