1

This is a UH News Liberated Press issue from September 24, 1969, published by students at the University of Hartford. This extremely political newspaper was anti-war, anti-draft, and was created by students, with publications occurring only between 1968-1970. This newspaper showcased the diverse culture of students’ lives and interactions within the University of Hartford. The cover of this issue shows a very jarring image of a man with his pants down, to catch the reader's attention. This issue heavily focused on criticisms of Greek life and fraternities on campus. The newspaper featured hand-drawn graphics and a variety of typographic layouts. Also including local business advertisements, university clubs, and sports.
