New Athens 24 Hour Restaurant Logo

This is the logo and signage for the New Athens 24 Hour Restaurant in Charlotte. It was a local, family-owned and run restaurant opened in 1961. Known for its home-style cooking and nostalgic diner food, the restaurant was a local favorite for 28 years. In 2006 the restaurant was forced to closed due to nearby building expansions, but the same family later opened another restaurant called the Harrisburg Family House with a similar style of sit down, diner style meals.
