Anni Albers Weaving

"In the 60s, Anni Albers invented what she called "pictorial weavings", "hybrid weavings between text and textile, page and canvas" - Guggenheim Bilbao.

On Weaving, 1965, plate 10, ink and pencil on graph paper 27.8 x 21.6 cm. Labyrinthe Rouge, 1954, cotton, 52 x 37.5 cm.
