First released as a 10-track LP, “Cologne” (1986) is an 80's city pop album by Kaoru Akimoto (秋元薫). It is her first and only released album.
The cover features the singer's face as she stares into the camera. This is accompanied by the album's title and her name in a sleek font. The text's color is the same as that of Kaoru Akimoto's lipstick, subtly tying the text and image together.
The warm natural colors of the cover are juxtaposed in the backside of the LP cover with a bright neon pink featuring the same text as well as the track list of the album.
