Auriea Harvey is one of the most notable artists to fall under the cyberfeminist label, but she likely wouldn't consider herself a graphic designer, at least in the traditional sense. Her many practices would include sculpture, game design, and creative coding. Nevertheless, many of her works, particularly some of her net art and more interactive pieces, have many elements of graphic design to them. This image comes from a series titled Me and My Ghost, which she created in 2001 with a webcam and self-made generative software. The image has a poster-like quality and features heavy glitching and distortion. Interestingly, the typography also seems to be affected by the glitches, becoming somewhat skewed and morphed along with the image of Harvey.
