Original New Year's Card

This 2013 New Year's card by Masao Shirasawa contains a collection of typography, printing making, and illustrations. The left side of the card contains two paragraphs of presumably decorative cursive text, with a smaller reflection of the larger triangular figure centered between the two paragraphs. The larger triangular figure appears to have a set of eyes, and sits next to the stamped text “Happy New Year 2013.” The right side of the card contains some larger typography, as well as a smaller centered red circle. The overall composition gives the card a chaotic, yet vibrant and complete impression.
