In March, 2012, Bojangles took over the ad-campaign scene with their new edition of characters … Chicken Cops. Chicken Cops was advertised on outdoors ads, online ads, radio ads, and TV ads to promote Bojangles superiority on their southern chicken and to call out those who plan to eat lowly chicken.
The Chicken Cops consisted two characters, known as Detectives Roadcross and Otherside. Right before uninformed consumers are about to take a bite of inferior chicken, these cops enter the scene and and shout the popular catchphrase, "Chicken Cops. Don't Move." to "protect what's served."
