Gekkan OUT: Nausicaä

Gekkan OUT is a magazine focused on animation, design, pop culture,  etc . This issue was publish in 1984, cover design by Hayao Miyazaki  released during the time Nausicaä of the valley of the wind premiered. Nausicaä Is featured on the cover of the magazine.

The Magazine was published by Minori Shobo. while the illustration and character design was by Hayao Miyazaki, Gekkan OUT magazine design direction is handled by the magazines editorial design team under Minori Shobo. The magazine itself was a key factor in anime fandom as it was one of the first magazines that actively engaged  in fan culture and reader submissions.
